Centennial College - Dream Bigger
We recently teamed up with Airfoil Media to create this fun spot for Centennial College.
Sometimes you’re lucky enough to have a client that’s willing to dream a little with you, which is what makes this “Dream Bigger” spot so appropriately named. With a tight budget and timeline, we knew that delivering a photo-real spot wasn’t going to be possible, so we proposed adding a little 2D illustrative magic to the 3D transformations. Architectural drawings, napkin sketches, early game renders: what if we bring the physical “how” of daydreaming into real-world scenarios?
3D Animation With A 2D Feel
Wade Hardman, 3D director and motion designer, came on board to introduce our dreaming-big drawings to Toronto’s landscape. The final product is a mixed-media tribute to thinking outside the box — for both Centennial students and scrappy studios looking for clever solutions to deliver something beautiful.
What Do Dreams Look Like
Everyone dreams a little differently. We wanted to show what that might look like by giving each scene its own unique feel.
From architectural design renderings, to notebook sketches and napkin drawing, to geometrical shapes and pixels, the aim was to show each of the students’ dreams as their own.
